The Feminist Anti-Violence Research (FemAnVi) is happy to invite you to its fifth international conference Children living with Domestic Violence: International Conversations for Innovative Research and Practices. The conference will take place at University of Ottawa on March 29 & 30, 2023.


This bilingual conference (simultaneous interpretation available in English and French) brings together experts on children living in a context of domestic violence. In addition to presentations by internationally renowned researchers, this conference recognizes the expertise of those who work directly with children living with domestic violence, and also features presentations by young people who have experienced domestic violence. It proposes an innovative approach for understanding the situation of children living with domestic violence, focusing on their experiences and perspectives, as well as on their rights and participation in the development of policies and practices
